+ MUSIC: A. SAMUELS - LIVIN' DE LIFE (VIDEO)

Let me start off by saying this song and it's video is absolutely hilarious! Allen Samuels has been in the casino business for over 30 years and has now decided to try his hand at a rap career because he lives the life. This song is pure gold and the video shows exactly how Samuels is "livin the life" which includes jet-setting (although he's sans iPad so JD's one up on him) rapping in front two Mercedes', starting dance lines with kids on the street, rocking live shoes, ballin', wearing your sweater tucked in and macking your lawyer on your own desk, plus his dance moves are second to none. There's even a cameo from NBA championship player and Dallas Mavericks veteran Jason Terry. If you look up the definition of "swagger" in the dictionary you are sure to find a picture of Allen Samuels. In all seriousness this is a bit of harmless fun and will provide a great Friday afternoon chuckle. Check out A. Samuel's - Livin De Life in all it's glory after the jump, this is a must see!

+ MEDIA: EPISODES - SEASON 1

So I'd heard a little bit about this TV sitcom "Episodes" when it premiered awhile ago, mainly that Matt LeBlanc (Joey from Friends) was starring in it as a fictitious version of himself. Anyway I didn't really think much of it at the time and thus didn't watch it. However I was browsing the Rip It Up website the other day and came across a post that they had done on Episodes talking it up. So I thought why not give it a chance and let me tell you, I was very pleasantly surprised. The show is quite hilarious indeed, LeBlanc included. It centres on a British husband and wife writing team (Steven Mangan and Tamsin Grieg who you might remember played "Fran" in cult British comedy Black Books) who are wooed by a big Hollywood network executive to travel to the US to recreate their award winning TV series for American audiences. I'm only up to episode 4 (there's 7 in the season) but I'm quite enjoying it. Sure it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, and the humour is quite dry but I recommend you all give it a chance. Season 1 is available on DVD now (or you can grab it from the usual Bit Torrent sources). Check out the Episodes trailer and DVD purchase details after the jump. Also shout out to Ryan at Rip It Up for convincing me to give the show a chance with his article.

+ MUSIC: THE LONELY ISLAND - TURTLENECK & CHAIN (ALBUM) (NSFW)

Stars of Saturday Night Live's digital shorts, "The Lonely Island" (Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccome) are back with their second studio album, "Turtleneck & Chain". If The Lonely Island doesn't sound instantly familiar you may remember a few of the songs from from their first album (which appeared initially as skits on SNL) were everywhere a couple of years ago, namely Jizz In My Pants and I'm On A Boat. This time the musical comedy group are back with some more classic comedic songs. I think it can be hard to listen to a musical comedy album in a single sitting because they can vary so much with their content but the music on Turtleneck & Chain itself is actually surprisingly good, they don't rely on comedic lyrics alone so the album seems relatively cohesive. By no means is this an album that everyone will enjoy but it's worth a look if you're looking for something a bit more lighthearted and want to have a chuckle. The album also features plenty of famous guests including Michael Bolton, Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, Justin Timberlake, Beck, Akon, Nicki Minaj & Santigold. Check out the track "Motherlover" featuring Justin Timberlake below with artwork, track-listing, purchase link and a heap of videos after the jump. (Also as a warning keep in mind that most of these songs contain a fair bit of profanity so if you're viewing this at work you'll probably want to get yourself some headphones before you listen/watch).

+ MEDIA: HBO PRESENTS - TALKING FUNNY

What do you get when you place four of the funniest guys in the world in the same room? "Talking Funny", that's what. The upcoming HBO special has Ricky Gervais sitting down with Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Louis C.K. as the four talk about their lives and careers as comedians. I'm a big fan of all four of these guys so this should be hilarious. Talking Funny is set to air on April 22 in the US, so mark that date in your calender. Full details and trailer after the jump.
