With anticipation for the release of Kanye West and Jay-Z’s collaborative album, “Watch the Throne” reaching fever pitch, a documentary has surfaced, offering a behind the scenes look at the making of the record. The majority of the video shows the recording session which took place while the two artists were in Sydney, Australia earlier in the year. A few special guests also make appearances in the video including Beyoncé and Russell Crowe. Yes you heard right, that Russell Crowe! Thankfully he doesn't throw any phones and he even gets a mention in one of the tracks, plus the footage of him throwing his hands in the air is pretty hilarious. The digital version of Watch the Throne is set to officially drop on August 1 followed by digital copies on August 5, so stay tuned to The Benjamins for updates as we get closer to release date.
