Legendary jazz and soul musician and the "Godfather of rap" Gil Scott-Heron passed away last week, age 62. Producer Cookin' Soul has put together a tribute mixtape "The Revolution Will Be Televised: A Tribute To Gil Scott-Heron" to celebrate Heron's long and illustrious career. The 17 track mixtape showcases classic Heron sounds combined with speech samples.
