+ ARCHITECTURE: AOL OFFICES BY STUDIO O + A

Does anyone remember those AOL CD's that used to be everywhere back in the day offering 1000 free hours of dial up internet? Well the internet sure has come a long way and it seems so has AOL. I wasn't even aware that they were still around but alas they are and the design and fitout of their new corporate headquarters is on some next level google-type sophistication. The offices were designed by San Francisco architectural firm Studio O+A who were also responsible for the design of the Facebook headquarters. The offices are really open and the fitout is clean and minimalistic making use of a myriad colours, textures and materials. The offices have a really organic feel to them and this is certainly not what I would expect from a big corporation like AOL. Check out the full image gallery after the jump.
