This just might be the coolest thing ever! The Beastie Boys have released the trailer for their upcoming short film "Fight For Your Right: Revisited". The video acts as a showcase for the groups upcoming album "Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2" and tells the story of what happened to the Beastie Boys after the original "Fight For Your Right" video in 1987. If you ask me, the film pretty much has the greatest line of celebrities ever assembled with Elijah Wood, Danny McBride and Seth Rogen playing the current day Beastie Boys and Jack Black, Will Ferrell & John C. Reilly playing the future Beastie Boys. Check out the trailer below and full cast list after the jump.
The number of celebrities cameos in the film is just plain ridiculous with Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Kirsten Dunst, Jason Schwartzman, Steve Buscemi, Ted Danson, Rainn Wilson, Will Arnett, Rashida Jones, Martin Starr, David Cross, Jody Hill, Chloe Sevigny, Maya Rudolph, Clint Caloury and Orlando Bloom all making appearances.
The short film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January of this year and as soon as it hits the interweb in full you can be sure to find it here.
